im on acura's website and it said 91 octane for the ILX, but didnt specify what grade gasoline for each engine. Does the 2.0l require octane 91 too? I would be amazed if it didnt since this engine is essentially a civic engine?

It should be 91 octane for the 2.4 but the 2.0L is 150hp. The compression is likely lower so it's probably just regular gas. It's the 200hp 2.0L that require 91 because of the higher compression.

Usually 91 octane and high is meant for high output engines, the 2.0L @ 150HP isn't high output so it can most likely take octane as low as 87
