It's only fair to ask.

Fans can also be their biggest critics. Who better to know the faults of the vehicle than an owner. Is there anything you don't like about the ILX? Something you want changed or improved?

#1 there is space up in the roof for a sunglass holder.. why the F*** did Honda decide not to put one?! #2 Road noise #3 no side mirror turn signals #4 no lumbar support seats #5 no rear exit exhaust #6 no Homelink on Base & Premium model..

The rest I expect from a car in the price range so no real complaint.

-No side dimming mirrors
-No lumbar support
-No 60/40 folding seats
-Bluetooth system is dated...voice command... WHAT voice command......worst...
-Song scrolling is a pain... I wish you would be able to scroll by letter (non-tech package)
-Wish the driver seat could go lower so I could get some more head room, i'm only 5'10 but like to sit fairly close and I'm pretty close to the top. Damn short stubby asian legs.

Again, for what this price range is though I'm happy with it.

^ Because he reminded me the iMID system is trash in the Base/Premium models. Tiny screen, outdated tech... POOP for scrolling through music.. it is even slow! Tech should of been available for 2.4

One of the few things I don't like is the "frowning face" on the passenger side dash.
I would have LIKED a tech package and LED tail lights. I agree, for what it cost, I love it!

Most of my list is already mentioned but I'll add: (Premium 2.0)
-No memory seat
-Passenger seat is manual
-Side mirrors dont automatically adjust when in Reverse
-No HomeLink (really?! for a 30k car)

the thing that bothered me most about the Acura ILX was the fact that they didnt have a 2.4L in automatic. I dont know how to drive standard but want the extra power. I just find it not fair. And another thing was there is no memory seats which bothers the heck out of me. My wife and I share the vehicle and you know women, she never adjusts it bac. She 5'4 I'm 6'2 so you can only imagine how annoying that is. Acura need to make improvements!

Memory seats are nice but not something you should expect on a car like this. I would be very happy if it was included but definitely not something I would care about having on an ILX. Any higher Acura model would need it.

I feel the ILX could of have had a more aggressive styling similar to that of the TSX. I can see how underwhelmed a lot of critics were when it came to the ILX design.

^^Probably wouldnt have bought the ILX if it got its styling ques from the tsx. I love the TL and RDX. I think the front end of the ILX is simply gorgeous while the tsx looks like your average sports luxury sedan. The TL is just gorgeous and the ILX is strikingly similar. I love that.

I went with the tech package. So a lot of the talk about navi, the screen size, stereo, etc I love and can't complain about.
I will agree the manual should have some tech as well as the auto/tech should have come in the 2.4 auto.

The only thing I REALLY REALLY REALLY wish we had were auto dimming side mirrors. Granted those cost an arm and a leg for Mercedes owners. I understand why only the baller ass TL has them.

I dont like the fact that you cant buy any Acura exterior lip kit. They dont even have anything available for the ILX in terms of cosmetics. And another thing is the rims, I would have imagined that since its an Acura they would have some more premium wheels offered for the ILX. Is it me or am I expecting to much?

They are all OEM, come painted and fitment is 100%. Lol just a heads up though installing an OEM kit is a pita!!! Front and rear bumper removal is a must. And you have to drill holes so you'll never be able to take it off. Well worth it though! Love mine!

At least in the end it will have proper fitment and be on their for good. A lot of aftermarket lips are easy to put on but some don't fit spot on, anyone with an eye for detail will spot the flaws.

Aside from the OEM Acura ILX lip, i want to see what aftermarket from lips we'll be getting!

Me coming from the hondatech nwp world. I couldn't go with any SuperStreet classified no name transformer lip.
And chances are neither spoon, nor mugen, nor any other of the reputable tuning companies, i.e. backyard sepcial, crow, js racing, jun, walker, etc, will care to create products for the ilx. We'll be lucky.. or unlucky, to find "Combat" and "Blitz" body kits in the next few years and my god I will flame anyone that ruins their ilx with them. hahaha

Sorry, opinions, we've all got em. haha
