So I currently needed to do a engine swap in my 2013 Acura ILX 2.0L. I went and purchased the engine but to my surprise it happened to be a JDM version of my North American engine. I did not know this so when I actually took the engine to the shop they took out my old engine proceeded to put in my new engine but told me that they need to extend the harness to fit the crankshaft positioning sensor as it is in a different place on the JDM Engine. This is been done but unfortunately he's telling me that the car will not start do that only senses 30 RPMs. Could the wiring be incorrect please help I need this car so I can get back and forth to work and this is my last bit of money. I really don't want to buy a car right now being that this is not a buyer's market during the recession. Thanks in advance any help will be greatly appreciated.
