My daughter’s 2016 a-spec ILX has a squeak in the engine compartment. It sounds like something on the serpentine belt path. I’m thinking idler pulley bearing or tensioner. Has anyone had a similar issue? It has 70k on it so due for a belt anyway.

Get a new belt and see. Upgrade to Gates or similar. Squeeking happens when belts are out of line, whether that be pulleys/idler or wear. Regardless...you're past due on a replacement. 😉

Did it only start happening around 70k?
I hear a similar noise that may be the same problem however the 2021 ILX aspec I just bought is only at 15,000 miles.
