I want to put a aftermarket spoiler or the deck lid spoiler but I'm not sure what I should put on. Anybody got any suggestions or provide pictures of ilx's with different spoilers?

Well I want to keep a sporty luxury look if that makes sense?

No it doesnt. That is an oxymoron.
Sport = function
Luxury = form
You sacrifice one for the other.
The two deck lids they have out are both a more luxurious feel. The one with the chrome strip being even more luxurious looking making the plain one more sporty but still its just a deck lid.
A full on wing would give it a more sporty look if you consider RICE to be sporty. But thats what Rice is. Turning an average car into a race car wannabe.
Only ILX with a wing is the endurance build and it has a purpose and IS a race car. No one else has done any modding like that.

oh and somebody put megan racing coilovers on their car this week. It is now the lowest sitting ILX other than all the ILXs on H&R springs... and well aside from the endurance or sema street build ilx of course.

Not many people are interested in VIP cars here. I for one am and will clearly be doing a VIP style build, hence my thread title.
Most ilx tuners are just blacking out a couple things, an intake here suspension there then calling it a day.
Majority of them are going with a more race car look by blacking out the chrome trim and rocking sponsor type decals.
We'll see where the community is in a year. It's still pretty early!

I bought the OEM deck lid spoiler and installed it myself. The install was fairly easy, there were 2 difficult parts: 1) having the cajones to drill the holes correctly in the trunk door and 2) replacing the spring for the trunk. The spoiler adds weight to the trunk so when you purchase the spoiler it also came with a stronger spring so the trunk could still pop open on its own.

The drilling part is usually when you start to get iff about the whole thing. Did you end up putting any touch up paint aorund the part that you drilled just to make sure you seal the paint from getting rust after.

I like small, subtle OEM-looking wings, and am curious to know what fits the ILX.
I know it's pictured on a TSX, but look at the curvature of the spoiler vs the TSX's flat trunk.
The ILX's trunk is more like this spoiler's curved shape which in all, just may look right at home after paint matching.
I think one would have to tweak the mounting feet on the spoiler so that it fits flush with the ILX trunk. (Curved trunk vs flat feet on the spoiler)

It's a Remin spoiler from Carid.com, Item Number: 4056169. It's kinda similar to the recent Dodge Charger SRT8 spoilers.
*Not a fan of rice, do not label me as an Ricer! This spoiler from what I can tell is not a Fast and the Furious wing!

Bad, is in the eye of the beholder so not everyone sees rice as the same. A ricer would never consider his own car rice.
Some say, too many OEM optional parts can make a car rice. I agree with this.
Even a huge wing, as you stated, doesnt always make a car rice. The Endurance ILX has a huge wing but it is functional and serves a huge purpose to the race car its mounted on.
The wing posted, not being made my honda/acura or by a race company exclusive to hondas/acuras, along with the fact that it looks tacky makes it rice. Doesn't have to be in a FandF movie to be rice.
