Rim Fitment Thread

Well I just picked up an ilx last week and so far im very happy with it, mind you I traded in a 2010 TL SH-AWD for it.
It was a huge change and Im still getting used to the ILX, the seats were definitely more comfortable in the TL, but Im loving the gas mileage of the ILX.
ANYWAYS....

I would like to start modifying my ilx and im sure there are other members on this forum that would like to see what other people have tried for rims/ tire / suspension options
It would be nice to see some photos
Im looking at getting 18" rota grids or varrstoen 222 in the spring, im not sure if varrstoen makes a rims that's not very aggressive.

Ill start by adding the picture that Im sure we've all seen

Its sitting on what I think is 18" enkei rims which in my opinion looks pretty good, but it needs a lower profile tire and a bigger drop

So post some pictures of what you guys got going on and hopefully we can help each other out

I was definitely looking to start a thread like this.. It's 100% sure that

235/35/19 tires on 19x8.5 +45 will fit with a 5mm spacer in front and a 10mm in back. (SEMA car specs)
I am probably going 235/40/18 on 18x8.5 +30-40

You can assume most 2012 Civic Si set-ups will be like ours as far as size/fitment.. if you're looking to go slammed/fitted it's easier to keep the wheel 8" width or less.
^ unless you want to stretch tires. If not keep it close to 8"

Right, I should clarify.. MANY things are possible.. depending on what amount of money and work you'd like to put forth. lol
so i just picked up a set of varrstoens 220 in 17x9 +22 offset, mounted them on he rear and they stick out about an inch past the fender
hopefully once i get my coils with a drop they will fit the wheel wells nice :D
which tire are you gonna be using with the varstoens?
i got a set of stock 215/45/17 Michelin's

Thats a huge stretch man. but if thats the look your trying to go for thats fine. Just be careful.
well i had 225/40/18 on a 9.5 on my last car and it was a fairly mild stretch, nothing too crazy
