These are one of the few factory alloys I like, however I need to be just a little different. I'm thinking about taking them to Wheel Medic and having them painted white and a red accent stripe painted around the circumference of the lip about 1/4 in wide

Here's an example Alloy wheel Rim Spoke Wheel Auto part

agree.

and as a suggestion, you might want to invest in real aftermarket wheels you like and keep the OEM wheels as beater wheels/winter wheels. IMO it will look better
 Gottcha .....
Well i guess it really depends on how you want your car to look. More sporty ricey type or keep the car too its name and class.
Perhaps some BBS LM's ? Hmmmmmm

there was a photochop somewhere of BBS LM's on a ILX, it looked good, but those wheels are so played out. So many nice wheels to choose from these days, look beyond LM's
If you wanna paint the OE wheels id use Plasti-dip man, then if you dont likey just take it off..........Played out wheels? man every wheel is played these days, from the Vdub guys to the Lexus to Honda guys every wheel/colour combo has been done and over done a million times, its what looks good to you that matters:punk:
I like the factor alloys... I think if you're a white wheel guy.. it stands out like CRAZY. Me personally? I'd like a charcoal high gloss finish.

thats true you might be ruining its class but its up to you. Just sayin
Use plastidip. If you don't like it. Peel it off. Problem solved.

Well :001_unsure: The wife said no and it's her car so I'll wait till March and buy some proper wheels (light weight) and leave the OEM's on the Blizzaks

Even better! Have you decided on aftermarket wheels as yet?
