I just purchased a black on black ILX 2.4 and loving it so far. The 6 speed manual is very smooth and peppy. Fun to drive and responsive. Strange thing though, I haven't seen any other ILX's on the road. Anyway, I am glad to be a part of this forum group.

Hey! Welcome to the forum. I have a 6-Speed PMM and I am glad you have the same thoughts on the car being fun-to-drive!

Welcome and congrats

My wife has a BPW 2.4L 6mt. We recently installed Bridgestone Blizzaks and the car traverses snow and ice beautifully

I guess it depends where you live. Every week I see at least 5-10 ILX's and as the months go by I see even more :)

I think this car REALLY appeals to urban drivers.. I live in the major Fort Worth area and I see A LOT of them scurrying around. I figure the gas mileage, size, all while retaining your "status" are the main draws.

"status" is a big thing, i bet if the ILX looked very close to the Civic, people who want "status" won't buy it. I noticed this with all the previous versions....1.6 EL, 1.7 EL & CSX.

Status is 90% of why someone buys a luxury class vehicle.. I am sure.
