Hey guys!

Just purchased a BPW on black ILX Premium in Toronto for the wife, this is our first Acura and we are loving the ILX! We really needed something more practical and will actually handle in the snow, the old coupe was rear wheel drive and was a nightmare in the snow even with snow tires! The ILX does not have nearly the same power compared to the old car so switching to the ILX took some getting used to, we think the 2.0 could use a little more but neither of us are super fast drivers so it will do just fine. We had several cars in mind while shopping around for a new car however Acura wasn't on our list, but when we went to the Acura dealership and saw the ILX...we made up our mind pretty quickly after the test drive. The ILX offers a great driving experience, we fight over who gets to sit in the driver seat almost every time we take it out! :) We couldn't be happier with our purchase and believe this won't be our last Acura!

Super stoked that there is a forum dedicated to the ILX and looking forward to sharing info/experiences with fellow ILX owners!

Welcome fellow Torontonian! congrats on the new ILX... which dealer did you pick it up from?
Thanks! Picked up the ILX from Markham Acura! Yourself?

Welcome to the forum! Are there a lot of ILX's in Toronto. You seem to be one of few Toronto members on this forum.
Not really, I have only seen 3 on the road so far but none that are BPW! :)

Thanks guys!

Wheels are from the old car, they're made by Fast and are the same size as the OEM wheels 17X7.

Tires are Michelin X-Ice Xi2 205/50R17, got a great deal on them!
What was the old car?

Those Michelin X-Ice Xi2's can get pricey but well worth the price you pay for them. My first set of winter tires were the regular X-Ice, lasted me 5 seasons!
Have you owned any winter tires aside from these?

Old car was a G35, it was a nightmare even with winters! Had Bridgestone Blizzak WS50s on it.

Got the Xi2's for almost the same price as the Hankook iPikes, which I thought was a steal!
