Eventually everybody else will catch up i.e. AEM etc..
mugen intakes are generally overpriced for the performance gain that you achieve anyways.I have petition Scott @ King Motorsports (US Mugen supplier) but he indicated since Civic production ceased in Japan don't expect anything from Mugen
Somewhat true but fitment issues and quality is second to none. Perhaps Skunkworks or CT Engineering will show something at SEMAmugen intakes are generally overpriced for the performance gain that you achieve anyways.
I always knew you had to do this with the Cone type filter and not the drop in filter that directly replaces the OEM filter. Those K&N filters are the ones you have to oil right?
They are pre-oiled from K&NThose K&N filters are the ones you have to oil right?

Haha well if you make a head shield for it and configurate it in such a way that only cool air from the outside comes in, it can be better. Plus who doesn't love the growling soundYes! I guess if your mechanically inclined that would work out otherwise for some people they wouldnt want to bother. Especially when they spend over $300 on an intake.Haha well if you make a head shield for it and configurate it in such a way that only cool air from the outside comes in, it can be better.
