Honda has important plans set for the Chinese market over the next few years, as it will enhance its range with the introduction of more than 10 brand new or redesigned models from 2013 to 2015, while also increasing its local production capacity.

We'll get a taste of what Honda has in store for Chinese consumers at the 2012 Beijing Auto Show, as aside from the presentation of the CR-Z, Insight and Fit hybrid models that will all be launched onto the market this year, the company will also debut two new concept models.

The Japanese automaker isn't willing to reveal anything about the two studies yet, but it did release a pair of sketches that outline the shape of a minivan and a what is most likely a sedan model.

Acura will be present in Beijing with the all-new NSX Concept, plus the ILX compact saloon and the RDX compact crossover, both of which will be introduced to the Chinese market later this year.

Honda said that it plans to further strengthen Acura's product lineup in China with the new 2013 RLX flagship sedan that we saw at the New York Auto Show. Moreover, starting from next year, the Acura brand will introduce models equipped with new, smaller-sized engines, for which there is large demand in China.

Honda said that it's considering the establishment of a new design studio in China and added that in July, the second plant of Dongfeng Honda will begin production, while the brand's other partner in the country, Guangqi, is moving on with a plan to build its third line and is aiming to begin production on this new line in 2014.
