This is pretty bad, people who dont wear their seat belt might go flying out their ILX or CR-V if their door happens to open unexpectedly LOL
Honda Canada recalling CR-V, Acura ILX vehicles for door repairs
MARKHAM, ONT. — Honda Canada says it will voluntarily recall approximately 20,920 model-year 2012 CR-V vehicles and about 800 model-year 2013 Acura ILX vehicles.
The automaker needs to replace both front door latches and, in some CR-V vehicles, the interior front door handles because the door release cable may become partially disengaged.
Honda Canada says when this happens, the affected door might open unexpectedly.
No accidents or injuries have been reported related to this issue.
Honda says it will begin mailing notifications to affected owners in mid-August.
Owners can check to see if their vehicles are affected, and obtain additional information, by going on-line after July 20 at Honda Vin Recalls and Lookup.
Honda owners can also call (888) 946-6329 and Acura owners can call (888) 922-8729.

So thats what seat belts do... lol I hope someone didnt have to find out the hard way for them to make the recall. Any automaker should be a 100% sure that everything is up to par in safety before releasing them on the market. but i guess its kinda hard when mass production is involved.
Hopefully people do read their recall notice and visit their Dealership to have this looked after, not something you want to be loafting on. At least they took action and made the recall for the issue. Is this only for Canadian models?
