Hello fellow ILXers

I am about to lease the new ILX with premium package automatic transmission.

It is advertised for $239 monthly with $2000 down for "Well qualified buyers" or $300 a month with $0 down for "Well qualified buyers" (Both of these are 10k miles a year 36 month)

Heres my deal; Shit credit 610 range

After discussing options with the dealer this is what he came back with.

$1000 Down and $440 a month and 15k Miles a year 36 month.

Am I getting beatin from behind without vaseline? or does this sound accurate for my credit score?

Any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you

less than 620 is "risky" to them, so considering that and the price increase it may be worth it all depending how badly you want the ILX. Are you comfortable making payments of $440 a month?

I know if i really wanted the ILX, I would pay the $440.

Yeah $440 is doable and the buy out i think is like 17500. Thanks guy for your input. Shyt weather here the last few days so no really good pics but i did get a couple on the website you can view in my profile/garage or the thread for the black pearl ILXs.

...... Being a first model year vehicle, it might have more issues than expected.
I doubt it having shared mechanicals from the 2012/13 Civic and built on the same line in Greensburg,In. We now have 2500 flawless miles on our ILX

He had a good point. But the 1.7 EL had it's fair share of problems even though it very closely based off of the 7th generation civic. Thankfully you have had 2500 flawless miles :D

Those are normal numbers my friend.

They wouldn't take me as sole buyer. I was able to talk my mother into co signing, she ended up pulling a score of like 680 while I had 700.. weird.
But I ended up with the TECH package for 3500 down and 372 a month. You may pay 70 more a month for the lower package but i forked out another 2500 for the down payment so it all sounds right.

Best thing to do first is deal with the price then mention you want to lease. I was able to drop the premium pack 2.0L Auto to 27k from 30k. Down $3500 then came out to $229 per month with 10Kmiles/Year. Added deck spoiler and stupidly accepted paint protection plan so it rosed to $265 per month. Happy with the deal but most certainly should've pass on the paint protection plan. It would have been only $240 without the protection plan.
