Has anyone upgraded their stereo system?

I'd go with alpine type-R speakers all around and which amp are you talking about? The one for the sub or for your component speakers? I've done car audio for a little over 4 years and alpine has never given me any issues, just good reviews. Set aside that the alpine type-r's give you crisp sound quality and premium bass. I buy a majority of my stuff from onlinecarstereo.com since they give pretty good deals.
