Just bought my ILX Saturday and I got about a dime sized rock chip in my windshield on Sunday...fml It's the 2.4L 6spd Premium edition. Polished Metal color with black leather interior. I love how the ILX looks!!

I live in Columbus, OH. I had a stick shift in college and had to sell it after college, but ever since then I've missed having a manual. I have to keep this car for work so I'll probably only do minor modifications.

Congrats on the new vehicle! Welcome to the forums.

Sprry to hear about the rock chip on the windshield. Those thing really piss me off especially with brand new cars. I think you should go get it repair before it spreads and makes it worst. You can go to a glass repair shop and the you can get the crack filled with resin.

Welcome.

The rock chips sucks. I have been fortunate enough to never go through that. I guess it depends where you drive and how you drive in them.

What did you own before the ILX and how are you liking the ILX compare to it?

How do you guys find that Acura dealership to be? and compared to any others you might have been too...how is it?
Honestly back in 07 we were going to buy a TSX but could get anyone to help us;so we drove 5 miles and bought an Accord that day. Fast forward to Sept 2012 I walked in, was greeted immediately and professionally and bought the ILX within an hour.

I've had the car in for two oil changes (5k & 10K) and have had a great experience both times. In and out in 25 minutes with the interior vac'd and the car washed

They will be my first choice on my next Acura

When it comes to driving dynamics, the two cars feel better than their less premium siblings. For those looking for a sportier, engaging drive, the ILX is the better option. The Acura’s 2.0-liter engine is down 32 horsepower to the Buick’s 2.4L 182 hp engine, but the ILX manages to feel responsive and rev-happy – due in part to it weighing several hundred pounds less.
