Finally got around to it. Had to get some extra parts to install the rivet nuts. Didn't want to buy a tool I'd only use this once. This is what the Acura Cargo Net package came with (two anchors and screws are missing, installed already).
Basic tools needed. 3/16" drill bit for bottom anchor points, and 3/8" drill bit for top anchor points. Plus a bar with a hole in it for the rivet nut.
Removed 3 push pins for access to the spot for the top anchor.
Using 3/8" drill bit, enlarged top hole for rivet nut. Place rivet nut in hole to ensure it fits. Assemble a bolt with nut and bar for the rivet nut
Place rivet nut into hole. I used a ratchet to hold the bolt and my hand to hold the bar (this must be done or the rivet nut just spins) while turning the nut clockwise. You'll feel the rivet nut catch on to the car, just be easy as it's made of aluminum. Once snug, use ratchet to remove bolt, nut with bar will fall off. Assemble anchor to supplied stud and screw into rivet nut. Install push pins and you're done.
Installed rivet nut (looks oblong on the face due to the size of the hole in the bar).
Using template, align as follows. I only drilled one hole per side instead of the two as suggested. I don't plan on ever using the cargo net flat in the trunk.
I used tape and marked the hole point. Using 3/16" drill bit, I drilled through the liner and sheet metal. Removed tape and used it to clean up debris from drilling. Assembled bottom anchor with stud and screwed into hole.
