anyone have any problems so far?

has any ILX owners had any issues with their cars yet? Seems like there aren't any of those "my car doesn't work" threads.

Is the ILX super reliable?

Nothing to report
Tho I only have 1000 miles so far
The 2.4 and sweet tranny is a joy to drive!
i find that the stock suspension in kinda clunky at times, almost feels like it bottoms out and is fairly noisy, i had the stitching on my steering wheel start to fray and got it replaced at the dealer at no charge and changed my shift knob to a titanium one in a neochrome colour, looks very sweet and sits about an inch lower than stock, but thats not really an "issue"
otherwise so far so good
I've had our Hybrid/Tech for over a year, 15k so far on miles. Last service I had to have the panel clips replaced for the upper door speakers near the mirrors. Both panels popped out and wouldn't go back. Warranty paid for everything.

what type of clips were they?
could it have popped out due to anything you were (or your passengers) were doing in the car or did it just happen to come out?
I've had an issue with a buzzing/rattling sound from the two front side panels whenever there was music with base on higher volumes. Anyone else have this issue?
Read my message about the clips. Its a factory issue. They will install new longer clips and correct the issue of rattles etc. I guess they loosen up by just using your upgraded ELS stereo volume at a decent level.
I'd get all the rattles resolved while warranty is still in effect.

All my previous Acuras had slight rattling problems.

Thanks for the feedback. I suggested this to the dealer and they will take a look at it today.

warranty is quite long anyways, i doubt even the lazy people will let problem go on that long before taking action.
Rattles are a Honda and Acura thing they are boud to happen and believe it or not it will come back...sadly.
Just purchased a 2014 this past Saturday and noticed my rear arm rest kind of popped out and didn't seem so secure lol..

Will have a visit to the dealer when I am in the area!
picked up a 2014 already? I think you are the first 2014 owner I've heard of. congrats! (well not on the armrest part)

Thanks! Picked it up this last Saturday! It was one of the only ways I could get it in Bellanova White Pearl :)

$26,200 + tax/fees
Nice! Any plans for the ILX?
Of course :)

After 1 day of owning the car I put on some Rays Engineering Gram Light 57s 17x7.5 +40

Coilovers next!
Oh nice do you have any pictures of it? Not a bad choice in rims. Which coilovers are you looking in to getting?
There are on instagram
Any 2.4L owners have issues shifting from 1st to 2nd? I've recently started to feel it grind a little and it feels really awkward getting into 2nd.

Also, after driving for a while, my engine starts making a slight gargling sound. Almost sounds like the noise I make when gargling water after brushing my teeth. Mainly noticeable at higher speeds, especially when cruising on the freeway.

Am I just being paranoid?
A user on azine has his tranny blow within the first couple months. Hes a 2.4 owner. After it was fixed it blew again. So much for a smooth manual tranny eh?
