Hey ilxluv,

I have the Hybrid/tech as I've mentioned before. Love all the features and just took it in for is 15k checkup. Found out that Acura has a engine management update to the main computer control management system. It effect's the Hybrid motor, engine, brakes, CVT and fuel management. It drive's much better and feels even more like an Acura should. Its almost if I gained 20 + hp overnight.

I was also told my ILX Hybrid Tech is very rare even for LA, I'm one of only two customers for my dealership. They have few people coming in daily to buy one and nobody can get one. Do we have any other ILX Hybrid owners out there by chance?

I have a hybrid tech! Just took mine in for 9 k check up and everything is great! Getting 40+ mpg and it drives super smooth like a luxe car should. I think I only saw one other hybrid ilx since I've owned my car.

Hey thats great...What color combo is yours? Ours is black with Parchment. I'm hoping my mileage will increase after the recent update. People don't realize they do drive luxe and have plenty of power. I have seen only one other as well, and being in Hybrid land (Los Angeles) I'm surprised. But when I ordered mine they shipped it down from San Fran since none were in southern Cali. Enjoy your ILX, great to know I'm not the only one!

Maybe your dealer is just an odd ball? Ive seen a few hybrids in person. More on instagram, and they had them when I bought mine.

Must be the same as someone saying you cant find white ILXs at their dealership.

They had Hybrids when we bought in 8/12. We had a hard time getting black with parchment/tech, white ones were in abundance....go figure.

Mine is Amberstone brown with a light Tan interior. I'm kind of surprised too about much power it has even though it has low HP. Evidently, Acura sells around 150-200 hybrid ilx's per month. Wonder which state has the most. Good to hear that another Hybrid ILX'er is enjoying there car!
