There are two and half engines..

-One is a 150hp 4 cylinder 2.0L

Most likely derived from some bored our R18 motor from the base honda civic.

-The other engine is the K24 from the Civic Si.
2.4L 4 cylinder 201hp 170lbs of torque.

There are rumors that the top end K24 model will have direct injection.

The ILX will also feature Acuras first hybrid. Featuring a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine and Honda’s Integrated Motor Assist, the ILX Hybrid will have 111 horsepower and 127 pound-feet of torque. That means fuel economy estimates of 35 miles per gallon in the city and 38 on the highway.

The k24 variant should be alot of fun to drive. 6 speed close ratio transmission paired with a helical LSD.

These dimensions where the first specs we've gotten
Length: 179.33in (4555mm)
Width: 74.4in (1890mm)
Height: 56.1in (1425mm)
Wheelbase: 105.12in (2670mm)

K24 would never be their primary motor, only due to because how everyone now a days all they care about is how far the car goes with the least amount of gas.

I'm sure the K24 motor would be great all around but it is also a high revving Premium fuel grade motor, which only people who want the extra umph to want it and can afford it.
It would be a luxury option upon this luxury car.
