It grooves and it moves, which makes this swinging little ditty from Nick Waterhouse the perfect song to soundtrack the latest commercial featuring the Acura ILX.

The song that plays in the commercial is ‘Say I Wanna Know’ from his 2012 release, ‘Time’s All Gone.’ It’s the lead off track from Waterhouse’s new album, and it shows his love of retro sounding horns and things that swing. One look at his website shows the musician paying respect to images, sounds, and looks of an era long past.

The song gives the commercial that extra cool flare. The Acura ILX shows the same man doing the exact same thing in two different screens, with the lighting meant to capture that he’s cool in either day or night. Eventually, the man in question arrives at his vehicle in both scenes and then drives off with the screens combining into one, thus showcasing that no matter what time of day or occasion, the Acura ILX is the right vehicle for you. The tag line of “Equal parts responsibility and fun” makes the final sell.
