Acura China’s 2013 ILX

The 2013 ILX has recently been added to the model lineup on acura.com.cn, joining the RL and TL as the third sedan offered by Acura China. From what I can tell, the ILX will be offered in China as a Hybrid model only. It receives some of the usual Chinese spec updates: clear corners for the front headlights, headlight washers, and modified tail lights. It also gets a nice little feature that I know some people noticed were absent in the North American ILX: side mirrors with turn signal indicators.

Aside from what we can see in the video, does anyone know the differences between the China market ILX vs American ILX?

Side mirror turn-signals, augmented tailights, cleared corner headlights, headlight wipers.. whatever else.. I unno

One thing we can really use are those side mirror turn-signals, if there's anything a luxury car needs to make it seem more luxurious are side mirror turn-signals!

Seems like the only differences from what i can see is the headlights and side markers.

I'm glad we don't have the old style Acura script emblem above the drivers tail but c'mon give us some mirror signals and clear corners. I have a feeling some of these extras will find there way onto the 2014 and piss alot of us off lol

This isn't the first time. Usually in the US models there is amber. The china models are clear. I believe this isn't the first time from Acura.

It's an American thing.. other countries have gone as far to ban Amber lenses.. it's supposed to help keep you from getting T-Boned.. but... yeah.

I cleared out the amber in my TL. looks 10x better.

hahaha i dont think it will save you from getting T-BONED but some of the laws depending which state requires the sidemarkers or corners to have amber instead of clear. Because emitting white lights usually means reverse or emergency vehicles.
