Hi Folks,

I got a 2019 Acura ILX A-Spec about three months ago. I am new to the Acura family and new to modding. The only thing I did was put on aftermarket wheels. I am now wanting to lower the car to improve handling and looks. There seems to be more part for the 2016 to 2018 models compared to the 2019 to 2020 models. Will the parts from a 2016-2018 fit on a 2019? I would appreciate any input as to what setup would be good.

Here is one option I found: https://www.carid.com/yellow-speed-r...&url=125481031

Another option would be to pair lowering springs with aftermarket shocks.

How would these be compared to OEM in terms of ride quality and handling? Are there better options?

Any time you lower a car the springs need to be stiffer to prevent bottoming out.
The factory shocks/struts have a low damping area in the first 1/4" each direction to smooth out highway driving.
I put the '14 Si front and rear sway bars on my '16 and it has excellent neutral handling. If you prefer over-steer (aka rotation) only change the rear. To change the front you need to drop the 'K' member to get it out. 35mph right turns are fun!
