Earlier this year, Acura said its ILX compact will be priced well below $30,000; the automaker is sticking to the plan. The newest Acura on the block will start at $25,900 when it goes on sale next month. Prices for the 2013 ILX top out at $34,400.

Acura’s smallest sedan will be available with three powertrains:

The ILX 2.0 uses a 150-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder and adds optional Premium and Tech packages.
The ILX 2.4 comes in a single Premium trim and features a 201-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine.
The brand’s first hybrid uses a 111-hp 1.5-liter powertrain and is available in base Hybrid trim or with the Tech package. Acura expects the hybrid to get EPA ratings of 35/38 mpg city/highway.
Standard features include keyless entry and push-button start, Pandora internet radio interface and SMS text message functionality. The Premium Package adds heated leather seats, an upgraded stereo, a multiview rearview camera and Active Sound Cancellation system. The Technology Package adds features such as ELS surround sound audio, AcuraLink multimedia functionality with voice recognition and a navigation system with a 60-gigabyte hard drive.

Full pricing is below. All prices exclude the $895 destination fee. The 2013 ILX will be manufactured at Honda's Greensburg, Ind., plant and will go on sale May 22.
