With a new flagship supercar planned in the NSX Concept, Acura also unveiled a new entry-level model at the Detroit Auto Show this week. Called the ILX, it's based on the new Honda Civic platform, but significantly modified. It also gets some distinct bodywork and three unique engine choices, including a hybrid option the first time ever for an Acura.

Great read and video on autoguide.com. I wonder what the starting price will be, in the video it was mentioned the ILX will start "well below $30 000". The ILX's main competition the Buick Verano starts at $22 600.... looks like we can expect a ILX starting price around the low to mid 20k's to keep things competitive.

That sounds just about right. Were pretty close to summer already, to my understanding by summer the ILX will be out with pricing released a month or two before....anyone know the official price yet?
