I seriously don't understand how the competitors they are comparing it to make any sense but ok. I guess there are two markets for this car. Those who want the 6 speed k24 aren't going to be people considering the buick verano, audi a3, lexus ct200h. The 2.0L auto version might be the better competitor. I think the 2.4L 6 speed, especially if it comes with a LSD is a healthy competitor to the entry level luxury sports market.

Wow, so were not getting a performance version of the ILX, no R-Spec is a big downside. Acura needs to do something in its performance division, and a compact performance sedan would do well for it.

R-spec was a no brainer, only the sweet japanese get r spec cars! but we get the lame type S version of all their cars haha

The 2.4L will work for my wife and I. I am disappointed about not having the LSD though. I'm considering pushing an Si coupe on my wife.
