I totally forgot about the Chrysler 200, it's very comparable to the ILX and Verano. Only think is Anyone looking to get an ILX probably won't think of or consider getting a Chrysler. You also forgot about Chrysler and their luxury cars as well,
Acura and Lexus are kinda like the low end tier of the Japanese Luxury market but are still great sellers, since most of their cars are based of their more economic counter part.
Yep, the verano just came out a year agoVerano just came out dude, but who know some people are not brand whores they just buy the car, based on price for what you pay and what you get! lowest prices for most stuff wins!
Buick is just GM's failed attempt at affordable luxury vehicles. Verano is based off of the Cruze which had a lot of problems when it came out, i would stay far away from anything GM until the bugs are worked out. Too bad your typical car buyer wont know that. The ILX might have it's issues but I doubt they will be anything like what GM has.Re: 2012 Buick Verano on Buick's site!
Nice find.

I love my Acura's, but this is the first time, in a long time, that I've seen someone call Lexus "low tier", and the only other Japanese brand is Infiniti. In reality, Lexus is the only brand even trying to compete with the Germans. You also forgot about Chrysler and their luxury cars as well,

These two cars are not comparable. The ILX is a compact. The 200 is a midsize, and its smaller engine is a 2.4l.I totally forgot about the Chrysler 200, it's very comparable to the ILX and Verano. Only think is Anyone looking to get an ILX probably won't think of or consider getting a Chrysler.
Chrysler 200 vs Acura ILX which is/will be the better car? 200 seems to be very popular, I see them everywhere....Verano not so much.
I seen them in person and they seem to be pretty small, about the size of a ILX (maybe we can pull up some dimensions on both models?). Never knew it was a mid-size.I love my Acura's, but this is the first time, in a long time, that I've seen someone call Lexus "low tier", and the only other Japanese brand is Infiniti. I always thought about the mercedes CLA being a competitor but i dont think there will be many people that are already looking to buy an ILX that'll give the CLA a look. The benz might be nicer and a bit close in price but with a Benz comes expensive parts and service.200, A3, Focus Platinum, Jetta GLI, the IS-250 is a competitor, the TSX, Mercedes CLA... there are more but I forget.
