    Hot Shift Knob

Have had my '14 ilx for 4 days now and after sitting in the sun for
8 hours my shift knob is so hot it's almost untouchable! Anybody
    else experience this?

I've looked for substitutes but haven't found anything I like. I plan
on tinting the door windows but doubt that will help much. Anybody
    have any suggestions?

I've had the same experience. Worse in winter, the shift knob almost freezes! I am looking for a replacement.

Just get something to put over it. Knobs that aren't made of a conductor like stainless steel work too.

stainless steel will still get hot in the sun. same with titanium. unless you want to get plastic...

Having tints and a sunshade helps alot.

I like leather wrapped shift knobs. It feels nicer to grip as well.

Sorry I worded my sentence poorly. Our OEM shifter is Stainless steel, is what I was getting at, at least I think it is.

Hey, I was skeptical but this works! Gives it a nice feel too.

Think I'll add another over top of the first for the heck of it. Thx!
