    Spoiler

I want to put a aftermarket spoiler or the deck lid spoiler but I'm not sure what I should put on. Anybody got any suggestions or provide pictures of ilx's with different spoilers?

Im happy with mine that came with the car. Hybrids have a chrome strip on it an look different then the other one's. I was told you can order it as well as the one my friends have, which is the solid body color that you have seen.

I agree with picking either of those up^

Chrome strip for a more luxurious look and without for a sporty look. Same price I believe.

No it doesnt. That is an oxymoron.
    Sport = function
    Luxury = form
You sacrifice one for the other.

The two deck lids they have out are both a more luxurious feel. The one with the chrome strip being even more luxurious looking making the plain one more sporty but still its just a deck lid.

A full on wing would give it a more sporty look if you consider RICE to be sporty. But thats what Rice is. Turning an average car into a race car wannabe.
Only ILX with a wing is the endurance build and it has a purpose and IS a race car. No one else has done any modding like that.

    Which run down.
    People have done...
lowering springs, eibach, h&r, and tein so far
    downpipe
    flashpro and tune
    dual exit exhaust
    single exit exhaust
    spoon n1 exhaust
    k&n short ram
    injen cai
    aem cai
    si sway bar
enough lighting work to make any ricer wet his pants
    sound dampening
18in wheels (5 sets now I believe best being the ce28s)
    spacers
    oe full lip kit
    sti front lip
    plastidip up the ass
    smoking
    tinting
    and a vinyl wrap

If I remember more I'll post up.

Endurance ILX - APR GTC-200 rear spoiler

    You're welcome.

oh and somebody put megan racing coilovers on their car this week. It is now the lowest sitting ILX other than all the ILXs on H&R springs... and well aside from the endurance or sema street build ilx of course.

Someone needs to VIP out the ILX, drop it on bags, roll the fenders and all that good stuff and it'll be the lowest ILX!

Not many people are interested in VIP cars here. I for one am and will clearly be doing a VIP style build, hence my thread title.
Most ilx tuners are just blacking out a couple things, an intake here suspension there then calling it a day.
Majority of them are going with a more race car look by blacking out the chrome trim and rocking sponsor type decals.

We'll see where the community is in a year. It's still pretty early!
